The Sea Serpent and a Tail to Remember 1/2/23
Two of us trailing behind in open waters dark green.
You are guiding us towards the horizon at dusk and the sky in pink. Your tail is golden brown, and your movement is slow but fierce. Pounding your fin on the surface of the water as you dive deep. Your length is stout but wide as a small ship. Your tail is detailed with embellishments as if embossed with hieroglyph symbols that look like starfish. What is your name?
The destination is unknown.
Swimming incessantly until we reach a shore of rot and decay.
We hop around so as to not slip and slide on the heaps of bacteria and fungi. The shore suddenly becomes flooring and with each step we make, lights up with opal-colored squares. or is it abalone shells?
