Coconut Island & A Carousel Black Horse 2/5 Full moon in Leo
A happy accident.
Your name was fuzzy in my mind, but your face was clear and your hair was kinked. Life is so strange you told me.
After heading out on the open road and allowing your motorcycle to guide the way you swerved not to hit the gold-trimmed black carousel horse mounted on Coconut Island where I was sleeping.
The swerve resulted in a scraped left knee with tiny pebbles embedded in your skin as if twirling too much and then falling down.
I was awakened by the lights outside flickering pink, orange, and red and knew it was you. As the people gathered, they were interfering and hindering our embrace. You motioned to the sky with your hand from afar and looked at the top of Coconut Island.
We both rushed to the metal staircase and the path going up continued to get smaller and smaller until we were slithering through the metal maze taking different journey’s until we came to a point where we met.
Once we reached the top, we gazed down to a tide crashing against Coconut Island, and out from the sea foam a hairy sea monster with arms like a sloth roared like a lion and muttered, you are protected.
You said life is strange to have brought me here to you this way. I said, how can it be out of all the roads to take you took this one? Unforeseen forces, you say with an ear-to-ear grin.
We just laugh and sip love coconuts in ceremony and give thanks to our hairy sea monster for keeping us safe.
We hop on your moto and ride to Sea Skin Tattoo parlor and get matching black carousel horses while listening to Missing Persons' “Destination Unknown”. We were good at kissing and laughing, especially at the same time.
